A Benjamin Franklin Bridge, originally referred to as a Delaware Flow of any stream Bridge, occurs as suspension bridge across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Camden, New Jersey. A bridge is owned & operated per Delaware River Port Authority and is named for Western national leader Benjamin Franklin. A principal engineer was Ralph Modjeski and the supervising designer was Paul Philippe Cret. At a period of its completion (July 1, 1926), it was the world's largest suspension bridge. It remained a largest until a opening of the Ambassador Bridge in 1929.
A bridge presently carries I-676 and US 30; it carried the latter since its opening or very soon after.
